Yep it's holiday time, which means my blogging ends up on the end of my to-do list. A lot has been going on, our anniversary, Thanksgiving, a wedding, and a baby or two, a birthday and of course preparing for Christmas, along with our daily routines there seems to not be enough hours in the day to complete everything. I mean I could get everything done, but I would have to give up sleep, and that's not going to happen! Lets see if I can get caught up before Christmas comes. I can always hope!!
Our Anniversary!!
I honestly can't believe we just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary!! Time really flies by!! I always envisioned where and what we would be doing for our anniversary and oh my have things changed. I knew we would spend it somewhere tropical. We didn't of course, and honestly that's just fine by me. I am beyond thrilled to actually spend that day together more than being at the beach. We didn't spend our 9th together so it was super important to spend out tenth together, I didn't even care where either. We ended up getting away for a couple of nights just the two of us. Which was SO needed. I know most people are not fully aware of our living situation, one day I would love to elaborate, but for now just know it was great and we enjoyed every minute of it. The boys spent a few days with my parents which they always love. Michael and I were able to spend quality time together, reconnect and even do a little Christmas shopping. I am more in love with him today than I have ever been! The past 10 years have been great, and I am looking forward to the next 50 years!

Happy Anniversary!
Today is Michael's and I 10 year anniversary!! It's hard to believe it's already been ten years. I remember when we got married thinking about where we would be in 10 years. Honestly I am not where I thought we would be, and that's OK. I think in some way it's better than I thought. Ever year has had it's share of ups and downs but I would not choose to go through any of it with any one other than Michael.
This past year is a year I will never forget. It's been probably the hardest year, but one of the best. We have both grown so much as individuals but our relationship has grown so much. Most of all our relationship with God has grown more than ever, and I am so grateful and thankful for that. Today we are on a little get-a-way that could potentially change our lives forever. God has done amazing things in our life, our marriage, and he will continue to show himself everyday from here on. We are excited to see his work in us and our family.
Happy Anniversary babe...I love you!! Thanks for the 10 best years of my life.

Busy...Busy...Busy...
Wow, things have been really crazy! I never thought it would be so exhausting with Michael out of town working! But guess what…I’m exhausted!! I guess you really don’t know how much the other person helps out and does until they are not around to help you. Not that I never appreciated him to begin with, but I guess it’s the little things he did that I’m now doing. Like taking the trash out….forgotten about 3 times, and a couple of times running to the end of the street in my pajamas while the truck is driving down the road. I must say I don’t think I would have made it to this point without my parents help. They have keep the kids, picked them up from daycare while I worked. Keep one or the other while we hang with friends, and the occasional overnight guests! Thanks mom and dad, I love you!
Let’s see…..between work and school we have been hanging with friends, bowling, football games, spending time with family, celebrating birthdays and a few things in between. Michael has been home two weekends since he’s been gone and we have enjoyed the time together. He will be in training for about three weeks, but at least he’ll be close to home and not another state. We are still alive….just really busy!!

North Carolina or Bust....
We have been really busy lately and I have slacked on my blogging. About two weeks ago Michael received a call to go and temp a store in North Carolina, so we have been preparing for him to leave this morning. Other than work, we have been spending a lot of family time. We would love Michael to have a store of his own, and in order to get there you have to do a little traveling. The kids and I already have a couple of trips planned to go and visit, and are going to be staying busy in the mean time to help the time pass quickly! I will be trying hard to keep up with the blog so Michael can keep up with it too, but I'm gonna be honest...it might get pushed to the side since I'll be kicking it by myself! We are very excited about the opportunity we have been given and are excited to see what doors God opens for us.

Sweet Home Alabama......
I like the song, and I love the movie; Alabama is where Michael is headed today and will be for the next 2 weeks! He got the call late Friday afternoon, and was on the road this morning. So for the next 2 weeks it's just me and the boys, YIKES!! Michael has traveled before, a lot while I was pregnant with Christian but just recently started traveling again. He was gone for a little over a week at Christmas time, and we survived that so we will survive this. We have a lot going on over the next couple of weeks that I'm sure it will go by quickly. Christian is having some dental work done Tuesday, more on that to come. Wednesday is the last day of school, and Friday we are leaving to head up to Kentucky! We will be returning on Monday, and then later in the week meeting up with Jennifer for dinner. Saturday the 5th I am considering running my first ever 5k, so we will see how that goes. Before you know it, it will be the 6th and Michael will be home. The key is to stay busy that way the boys won't have to much time to miss him. I'm sure they'll get by with phone calls, pictures via text, and the occasional surprises we packed in his suitcase while he wasn't looking! Have fun in Alabama, and we will see you when you get home!
