2 Months

Colin is 2 months, and it has gone by so fast. I took him yesterday to his checkup and he weighs 12lbs 12.5oz, and is a little over 24 in long! What a big boy!

Anniversary!

Well, seven years ago today I married my best friend! I can't believe that it's been that long, it has flown by so fast. But, I honestly can say it's been the best years of my life. And with out him I would not have two of the worlds most beautiful boys!! I Love you so much!!

Happy Halloween!!!

We had a great Halloween! Christian was a Firefighter and Colin was a Bumble Bee! My grandparents were in town for the weekend and were able to share in celebrating Colin's first Halloween. I went and help with Christian's class at shool with there party, and later that night headed to the church for the fall festival. Christin had a lot of fun and got even more candy!

Afterwards we headed to my parents house to help hand out candy to all the other trick-or-treaters, with Jordan and Jadon.

First Day...

Well, my first day back to work came and went. The tears started flowing over the weekend, so come Monday morning they were in full force. I was the same way when I left Christian for the first time, and for his first day of Pre-K, but this time it just felt different. I don't know, I guess I loved being the stay-at-home mom for a while. I stayed busy the whole time. Getting Christian up every morning and getting him ready for school, and helping out with his class. Being in the car-pool line everyday at 3:00 with all the other moms. Having a clean house, the laundry done, and dinner on the table at a decent time. And not being stressed out about anything,not worrying about not getting stuck at work, getting to the day care on time, being at work on time. I already miss being home, and hope that one day I will be able to be that full time stay-at-home mommy, that I would love to be.

Busy, Busy, Busy!!

I can't believe it's been a little over six weeks since Colin joined our family, and what a blessing. I must say it's been a little crazy getting used to dealing with two kids, but all worth it! It's like you finally have a routine and everything is going so smooth and then Colin arrives and you have to learn it all over again. But I think we got it down. Well at least now, I go back to work on Monday so that will be a whole new experience. Getting me ready and two kids fed, dressed, out the door to school by 8:30. I am sad about having to leave Colin at daycare, but I know he will be in great hands. He will be at the same place with big brother Christian, and his teacher is the same on Christian had. And on top of it all there is only one other baby in the class and she will be turning one soon, so it will leave Colin. At least for a little while. So I know he will be completely spoiled. Welcome Colin Emerson!!!!

Well, I know it's been a while since I last updated this and a lot has changed!! First, Christian started Pre-K! He is loving it and learning so much! Secondly, we added a new member to the Milam Family, Colin Emerson!! Born last Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 10:30. Weighing in at 7lbs 13oz and 20 3/4 inches long! Ten days before his due date, but healthy as can be!! Christian is a GREAT big brother, and a big helper to me! He loves giving his little brother hugs and kisses!! I'll try better at updating this as much as possible, but our lives just got a little more crazier!! Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Birthday Christian!!! (Part 2)

On Saturday night we invited our family over for cake and ice cream!! Oh course every thing was all about pirates. Christian LOVES giving himself and other people (whether or not they want one) a Tattoo!! By the end of the night he had 3 or 4 on his arm and the same on his legs! He picked out his Pirate cake, and it have to be chocolate! He got some great gifts! Thank you to our family for coming and making Christian's birthday special!

Christian's 4th Birthday!

I can't believe how time goes by so fast!!! It really seems like he was just a little baby, but now he is a BIG boy!!! This year Christian wanted a Pirate Birthday!! So on Saturday we took him to Priates Cove Mini Golf! It took him a little while to figure out the whole concept, but by the 6th hole he got it!!

For the reception, we headed to the University of Louisville Stadium! Christian loved being able to go down and run on the field!!

The Wedding!! (Part 1)

This past weekend we drove up to Kentucky for my cousin Shelli's wedding!! We were very excited to see everyone, since it had been a while. But even more excited that her and Chris asked Christian to be a part of there special day, as ring bearer!! To be honest we were a little scared about how he would act, but when the time came he did AWESOME!!!

We were so proud of him.

Summer Time!

Summer time is upon us!! Which means Christian will be spending a lot of time outside!! This past weekend him and daddy went fising on his boat!! He didn't catch anything but had so much fun!!

On Sunday we spent the afternoon at the pool!! Christian loves the water, which worries me a little bit, because before you know it he is jumping right in. He is our little fishy!!

Baby's Room!

I guess it's about time to start the babies room! We have about 15 weeks left, so I need to start moving. We have purchased the bedding and the furniture, but that's about it. So here are some before pictures and as the room progresses I will post more!

All of the furniture is black, and the bedding is cream, black, and yellow!

Oh, and by the way, he still does not have a name.

So I am attempting to start a blog, I don't know how often I will be able to, but I promise I am going to try. There are a lot of new things going on in the Milam household, we recenlty found out that Christian will have a baby brother in September! And we are all very excited.
