What a Beautiful weekend we had! To make it even better Michael had the whole weekend off…that’s a first since before Thanksgiving! We woke up Saturday and I was planning on meeting my mom at the park for a walk when my car would not start! Oh yeah…I figured our first car problem would be with Michael’s truck since it’s paid off! My car battery was dead as a door nail! So after about 3 hours of messing with it, we bought a new battery and it works perfectly! We finished the day cleaning around the house, the garage mainly, and playing outside!

I love when the weather is great, the boys enjoy being outside! Sunday was our normal "family day" and we spent the day running around, since this is the only time we can as a family! We bought a new office chair for our new desk we purchased last week, and while we were at Office Depot Mr. Colin walked right into a glass table, that happened to be his perfect height and WHAM…busted his head! I must admit he is very prone to forehead injuries; it seems that’s the only part of his body that gets hurt. He is such a busy body and gets going too fast for his little feet to keep up. He was fine about 5 minutes later, just took off once again.

On another note….I measured the distance from our house to the front of the subdivision and back and it is 3 miles. So I am going to start by walking it in hope to be able to run it. I have a plan to give myself until Memorial weekend to see how much weight I can lose. That is the weekend I will be heading up to Kentucky to see family for a visit and my cousins wedding and would love to have a new dress! Plus I found a really cute bathing suit, and if I meet my goal I am going to splurge on it! So here is to me working my bottom off....literally!!

For you viewing pleasure......

I wish I could pull off a 2 piece bathing suit, but I have had 2 kids...my body isn't like it was when I was in high school. I thought this was a really cute one piece!

Blogging.......

I must admit that when I started a blog it was to keep in contact with family, let them know what was going on in our lives especially since I was pregnant at the time. I decided to start one when a couple of girls I went to high school had one and I became addicted to reading them. Over time I slacked off, and just recently picked it back up and I really enjoy it. (When I get around to posting.) I know there are other websites out there such as face book, twitter, My Space that keeps people in contact with friends but there is really something different about blogging. It’s mine, I can write whatever I feel, and some people may like it and some may not. I have a few blogs that over time I have found and become addicted to. They write about anything and everything in their lives. The good, the bad, and the ugly. In my opinion the blogging world is huge! You always hear people ask, “are you on face book?” and 9 out of 10 times they are, but I am finding more and more people starting their own blogs. I know it’s weird but I read other people’s blogs and feel like I personally know them….I know crazy! You find yourself becoming invested in what they have to say. Sometimes you can relate to them and you sometimes feel “at least I’m not the only one.” I have found blogs by mothers, who share parenting tips, and I admit I steal them. I found websites by family’s who have lost a child, and my heart breaks with them, girls who struggle with self confidence and self esteem issues and what they have done to overcome them. Blogs by expectant mothers excited about bringing a new child into the world, blogs following couples getting ready to be married and start their lives together. There is at least one blog out there that anyone can relate to on any given day. I have even convinced a few people to start their own, and I do enjoy reading what they have to say. I love people to read mine and comment, I comment on other blogs. I hope that throughout my blog people can relate to me, take something away from what I have to say or just enjoy reading about my crazy life. Never the less, please read, leave comments, good or bad I can take it. I want to keep up with my blog in hope that one day I can look back and share my little stories with my boys when they are older. Whether it’s about my family, my job, my hobbies or whatever is on my mind on any day, that is what I’ll blog about. This is my life, it’s what GOD has given me and I am just documenting it from my perspective.

Childhood Car Games...

Do you remember what games you played as a child? I can remember my brother and I playing "punch buggie" in the car. When you see a bug car you yell punch buggie and then proceed to punch the other person in the arm. The hitting probably was not part of the original game, but we added it. Any-who, Christian has learned the game through friends at school, so as we are driving down the road he'll yell out "Punch buggie-punch back." (I'm not sure where the punch back came from.) It just reminds me of playing it as a child. As well as reminds me of how simple things where when you were younger, tough being a child! He has also decided since the bug cars have a game he will make up his own games as well. So not only are we having to compete with him on the punch buggies but also PT cruisers. I'm really not sure where that one came from. It's fun he is at the age where he is learning neat little games I played as a child myself. What car games did you play growing up?

Have a Great weekend, and go enjoy the beautiful weather!!

Michael Buble.....

Oh my...what a weekend! I had a full weekend with girls night and a concert. Girls night was great, good dinner at Longhorn and even better conversations! It's so nice to be able to go out and have a good time with a group of my friends.

Now, on to Sunday. My mom and I went out to dinner and then headed to the Gwinnett Arena for the show. We had great seats, floor level about 15 rows back I would guess. We walked around took some pictures, bought an awesome program with a DVD and then headed to our seats. When you first entered the Arena they had a red carpet set up with a back drop with Micahel standing there. So I had to stand next to him and get a picture. We saw another photographer there taking pictures as well, we first assumed that they would sell them during intermission. Well we where wrong, during the time between the opening act and Michael going on they played all the pictures on the big screen in the arena! It was funny, I didn't care to much for my picture, but the one with mom and me was alright.

The opening act was a group called Naturally 7, it was 7 guys singing acapella. They would make all the instruments sounds with there mouth as long as singing. It was amazing, you almost had to be able to see them other wise you would never guess they had no instruments. The time came and the music started and I was like a little girl on Christmas morning, I was grinning from ear to ear! He was FANTASTIC!!!! He puts on such a great show, and interacts with the audience the whole time. I thought he was quite funny with a few of his jokes! At one point he got off stage and walked down the isle to a smaller center stage and was about 10 feet from us! I noticed he wasn't as tall as I thought he was, in my heels we were about the same height. I took a few photos but nothing can compare to being there. I will defiantly go to another on of his shoes, it was that great! Aahh, he is such a hottie!! Any-who, enough about my crush, and on to pictures!

I'll post more later, when I can have them fit better!

It's Friday....

It’s Friday and I am SO excited!! I have a big weekend planned and can’t wait to start it! I am hoping we will have awesome weather to go along with my weekend. Tomorrow night is Girl’s night! I am so excited to go out, no kids and have some girl time! It’s one of my best friends birthday, love you Sandra. Michael will be having some quality boy time at home, I’m sure they will all be out by the time I get home. Sunday, oh my, it’s probably the most exciting day! I am finally going to be able to use my Christmas present from my parents. My mom and I are going to see Michael Buble in concert!! I know some people don’t know who he is, (Jennifer) but if you don’t your totally missing out. He is an amazing singer, and it does not hurt that he is hot. My husband is fully aware of the crush I have on him, and it totally fine with it! I will make sure to take pictures to share with you all.

In other news, I just have to share what Christian said this morning. I love having conversations with him, he is so serious and his facial expressions are great. Neither one of my kids slept worth a flip last night and both ended up in our bed by morning. I asked him what happened, and he said he had a dream and could not sleep. I thought it was a bad dream or something so I asked him what was it about. He said “nothing, it was just a non-fiction dream!” Michael and I just laughed! They are learning in school about fiction and non-fiction books, so I guess he figured he would relate his dream to it.

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

My boys.....

OK, so I have been really slacking the past few days, but I'm back. From Saturday to Tuesday it has been like spring here. I mean come on sunny and 70 degrees outside, yahoo!! I was so excited to see this kind of weather, since last Tuesday it snowed all day. That's Georgia weather for ya. Since the weather was nice I took the boys to one of the parks near the house to take a few pictures. Overall I am please with how they turned out, even though I had to keep telling Christian that I would love to have a few pictures with out him throwing up peace signs,(that's his new thing) or few with out Colin's mouth wide open. So with our further a do here are a few of my favorite.

I know they are my kids, but I think they are the cutest kids ever, and I love them so much!!

Kids say the darnedest things....

It's true, they really say the darnedest things. When they say something, to them it's right, and it's so serious. Christian cracks us up with some of the things he says. Michael and I look at each other sometimes and are like "where did that come from?" The other night Christian was playing with Colin's toy phone and said, "when your young you push the buttons fast," and preceded to push the numbers fast. Then says "and when you get old and have all those lines on your face, you push like this," and preceded to push the button very slow. Lines? We asked, yes lines on your face, as he makes lines on his face with his hands. Then it hit us, lines to him, are really wrinkles to older people! Too funny! So, as I am telling my mom about it, she says he asked her about her lines the other day! It's so funny, how they come up with there own little words!

My boys...

When you have kids life is never a dull moment. Having boy's makes that statement even more true. Don't get me wrong I would love to have a little girl, but there is something about having boys. First, I am the only female in the house, which makes me the most loved girl ever. I have two little "mamma's boys" and I wouldn't change it for anything. I also love the age difference between them, to us it's not to far apart but also not to close, just right! Christian absolutely adores Colin, and Colin looks at Christian like he is the best ever! For the most part they play really well together. There is just something about being "brothers." Colin's personality has been really showing lately and Michael and I can just sit on the couch and watch them, and that's all the entertainment we need. When we get home everyday they both take off, and will play until bed time. There are times where Christian gets a little rough with Collin, but other than that it is precious to watch them play. The other night Michael worked late, so the boys and I made cookies. They both got a stool/chair and helped mix, roll out, cute, bake and eat! It was so cute to have a special night with just me and the boys!

It's Monday.....It's March

So it’s March! Can’t believe it, where did February go? Never-the-less it’s March and we are one more month closer to Spring/Summer! I can’t wait….I am so over the cold weather, my skin is over the cold weather, and my kids are over the cold weather. They want to play outside, without hats and gloves and multiple layers of clothes. I am tired of the tricks the weather has been playing, if you are going to temp us with 60 degrees weather, please don’t give it to us one day and then take it away the next, and then say “you could have more wintery mix on Tuesday!” Not cool! Enough about the weather, I think it get’s my point. I made goals last month, so how did I do? Eh! Let’s re-cap shall we…

-Lose 5 pounds
-Do the elliptical 5 days a week
-Work on Couponing Record
-File Taxes
-Take more Photos’
-Start planning Disney trip

I filed our taxes, not what I was expecting to get back but we don’t have to pay, so I shouldn’t complain? We received our refund both state and federal last week, so not bad for our government system getting to them within a month. I kicked butt on my couponing record! I started CVS-ing, and I also kicked butt with that! I started planning out Disney trip! Can’t wait for July to get here! We will be gone over the 4th of July, are staying a few days longer than we did last year, but are staying at the same place. We really liked it, the price and it was a large enough room that we didn’t feel like we where on top of each other! Didn’t take more photos, I'm a little bummed about that. Did not do the elliptical 5 days a week, I was lucky I did it 5 times the whole month, but I did seem to lose 2 pounds! I’m not real happy about that, but I am the only one to blame. We will see how I do for the month of March.

The boys are getting SO big! Christian is doing awesome in school, and just started reading, and is doing really well with it. Michael and I are amazed when he sits down how much he is able to read! He’s only 5!! Colin’s personality is coming out so much! He is such a character. He makes the funniest facial expressions, and is into EVERYTHING!! He has such fast little hands, and has master the child locks in the kitchen! They are such a blessing to have in our life and we love them so much! I hope to be taking there pictures this weekend, weather permitting! So I will share soon!
Have a blessed day!
